Fushimi Inari
I really recommend visiting Fushimi Inari! It’s one of my favourite places in Kyoto. However, because it is popular it’s very crowded. Therefore, I recommend visiting very early, or late.
I visited with my friend at 7am. Even though we were early, there were many tourist taking photos already. I recommend going before 7am!
Note:
Remember it is a mountain and might be dark if you go late!
We didn’t climb to the top, but it’s not far! You need maybe 2-3 hours to climb to the top. We did the short loop and spent 1.5 hours at Fushimi Inari. There’s a lot of cats! Some people bring treats for them.
It’s easy to get to Fushimi Inari. There are two train stations, JR Inari Station and Keihan Fushimi Inari Station.
