In kanji lessons, I only introduce the most important readings that you’ll likely use as a beginner. This avoids you learning 100’s of readings you won’t use for years and will almost certainly forget! However, if you’re still eager to study them, you can find them all on the kanji page!
Green Indicates the vocab and all kanji needed to write the word have been introduced, and you should use this word's Kanji from now on. ALL words that fit this criteria will be here.
Orange Indicates you know the vocab but not ALL the kanji needed to write the word. Orange is just used for examples.
Grey Indicates you do not know the vocab, or all the kanji. Grey is just used for examples.
Pocket Japanese kanji charts also include a colour coded word list. Ideally, all words introduced will be green! But occasionally, there’s not enough green example words available, and examples will be orange or grey!
